Camp costs - what are they?

We know that the past few months we have seen a rising of costs across households, and that as a result it is important to understand the costs camp can have on individuals & their families.

We have put together this information to help you make an informed decision & help you come to camp with us - it would be fantastic to have everyone join us.

What makes up the camp fees?

The cost of camp sites have been going up past years due to rising costs of many areas including food. Thats important because: this camp includes ALL MEALS - including dinner on arrival night, plus teabreaks & supper - so we can relax and dont need to do any cooking!

In addition these fees enable the camp organisations to continue to be viable financially as places Christians & Youth Groups can gather for camps.

(The current cost is approx ~$133 per night p.p.)

What is included?

- This camp includes almost everything we need in one bundle - this means: Meals, Refreshments, Maintained Accommodation, Meeting rooms, Audio Visual Equipment, Facilities for Recreation etc..

What can I do if the costs seem high?

- We encourage you when completing the registration to highlight that you require sponsorship , and to select bank transfer payment at a later date. We know it can be hard to handle unexpected expenses.

We are going to be actively fundraising & seeking support for those who need it - we would love everyone to be enabled to come.

(We've enabled CC payments - so you can also pay down deposits from 20% on the invoices to smoothe out the cost over the weeks prior to camp, which may help some)

I have capacity to support someone else coming - what can I do?

- We have a number of Families, University students & others who will require assistance to come to camp. When registering, would you kindly consider selecting that you can sponsor someone & we will be in touch at a later date to arrange transfer. We appreciate you considering this as it is a practical way we can love each other - Thank you.

When are all payments, sponsorships & requests for help due?

- We aim to have this all finalised 30 days prior to camp to enable smooth running. If you have any questions, need help or extension please reach out via e-mail and we can try to help!
We also need the shirt order to the printer etc.

Tip: Under 5's as well as tea breaks are not catered by the site for dietaries so you may need to provide your own Gluten free muffin/etc. You may bring your own snacks/food if needed, the camp site has a fridge for this storage purpose. No Nuts at camp please.
